MEET OUR PASTOR

Robert D. Smartt, who is known at Hillview as Brother Bobby, has a heart and burden for the lost, and a true love for God and His Word.

He has an unwavering, uncompromising stand on the doctrines and truths in the King James Bible (the inspired inerrant, infallible, preserved Word of God for the English speaking people).

He was raised on dairy farms in Manchester and Columbia, TN, with his parents Dewey and Jean Smartt. At the age of 6, he was saved at New Union Baptist Church (Manchester, TN). Even at this early age, he knew God was calling him to preach His Word.

Brother Bobby and his wife, Mary Beth, were married in 1988 at the age of 20. Mrs. Mary Beth is a wonderful pastor's wife and loves to play the piano. She serves the church well as her role as the pianist. They have two lovely daughters, Ali and Matti. Ali is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College and is now a fifth grade teacher at Franklin Road Christian School in Murfreesboro. Matti is a junior at Western Kentucky University pursuing a degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
